Jeanette Ramsden, CEO of The Curve Group joins Tourism for All as an Ambassador
Jeanette Ramsden, CEO of The Curve Group has become an Ambassador for Tourism for All, a national charity which was founded in 1981. Tourism for All is the leading voice of accessible tourism and travel in the UK. For almost four decades, they have been providing practical advice and support to travellers and businesses alike – helping disabled tourists, travellers and healthcare professionals to find accessible accommodation and activities whilst also supporting business owners to improve the accessibility and inclusiveness of their services and offerings. They also provide resources to policy makers as part of the wider equality agenda – utilising their marketing intelligence and platform to inform national practices.
Commenting on her new role as Ambassador, Jeanette Ramsden, CEO of The Curve Group says:
“I am delighted to have been asked to join Tourism for All – the work they do to improve inclusivity for disabled travellers is fantastic and I’m looking forward to working with the other Ambassadors and the Board to further this excellent initiative, drawing upon my own experience of transforming working lives and championing diversity and inclusion within my own business and also within the wider Corporate and SME market.”
At The Curve Group, Jeanette has been able to implement standards of excellence that go beyond the norm within the HR and Recruitment industry. As a values-led business, all of The Curve Group’s services have been designed with diversity and inclusion at the core and the company is recognised as thought leaders and innovators in this space. As an Ambassador for Tourism for All, Jeanette will be championing the importance of inclusivity, equality and accessibility for all in tourism.
Raymond Veal, Director, Tourism for All says:
“We are really excited to welcome Jeanette as an Ambassador for Tourism for All. Her drive and energy – and her business acumen – will be invaluable in helping us to achieve our aim of making accessible travel better. Beyond that, Jeanette’s championing of inclusivity and equality through her own business, highlights for us the importance and value of a sometimes overlooked part of what we do: helping our disabled staff and volunteers to develop the professional and technical skills that will enable them to realise their potential and to build successful and rewarding careers.”
